MGDA Na3 is a versatile and readily biodegradable chelating agent for metal ions, forming stable, water-soluble complexes with them. In dishwashing detergents, it replaces phosphorus-containing builders and enhances cleaning performance. Thanks to its low molecular weight, it is effective even in short contact cleaning.
